Golden Retriever Puppies

Welcome,  Golden fanciers, fellow doggies and even friendly felines (I’m not entirely convinced you exist, but I’m an open-minded fellow). I’m Big Tex, (at right) an adorable light Golden who loves to play fetch, lick faces, and when a pup, I admit to chewing anything and everything in sight.  I even chased a cat once.

     I’m about 110 pounds of pure(bred) love. (a little larger than most others I know), but my bark nor my bite is bad, and if you scratch me behind the ears, I’ll consider adding you to my inner circle of humans.  And, I am the father of the others on this page, and either the father or grandfather of all the pups on this site.

I am just now learning to watch over four humans (two little ones who climb on me, and two big ones who don't). The big ones think they’re in charge, but it’s the little ones that get my tail in a wagging frenzy.

Goldens Are Best of All

I'm only about 6 months old in the photo above with the human i adopted.  The group in the middle shows me at about 3 weeks. Dad is above right.  I will probably grow to about 60 to 70  pounds (like my mom) when grown.  My brothers will be a little heavier.
